About JD

A third generation general contractor from Shreveport, Louisiana, JD began learning his trade at a very early age during the summers in grade school. After completing his general business degree at The University of Alabama, he started his career in his family’s insurance restoration construction company. He obtained his Florida General Contractor’s license at the age of 25 and became a part-owner.

Since then, JD has obtained expansive experience in all types of construction, ranging from large commercial and new custom home building, insurance restoration, as well as renovation and remodeling. After spending the past decade in new commercial and residential custom home building, he has decided to pursue his love of renovation.

“My true enjoyment and passion is renovation and remodeling. I find great satisfaction in taking a structure that is dated or in disrepair and bringing it back to life utilizing more modern materials and finishes. I appreciate the opportunity to create value for my clients in what is often their most valuable investment. I love to see the joy in their eyes when the property they own and love is transformed into their dream.”
